Quick Promote
Quick promote enables you to easily promote your best performing Tweets to a larger audience in a few simple clicks from your Twitter profile on web, Android or iOS. Promoting your best Tweet through quick promote helps you drive interaction and engagement with your content from a wide range of users.
Small-business advertisers can also access quick promote using the Tweet Activity Dashboard or a Tweet’s permanent link.
Quick promote is an ideal choice for SMB advertisers that would like to quickly and easily promote a specific Tweet without having to use the Twitter Ads campaign workflow.
Additionally, quick promote allows advertisers to see if the desired Tweet resonates with users before creating an objective-based campaign based on the Promoted Tweet.
Promoted Tweets created from quick promote will display in a user’s timeline. The users that will see the Promoted Tweet are those that fit the targeting credentials of quick promote.
You can easily view the results of your Promoted Tweet in real-time on Twitter.com, Android or iOS by clicking on the “View Tweet Activity” icon for any of your Promoted Tweets.

Quick promote campaigns target users similar to the advertiser’s followers, and users that are likely to be interested in the topics mentioned in the Tweet. With quick promote, you can target your Promoted Tweet by geo. Below are the available options:
- Worldwide (no geo-targeting)
- Country*
- State/Province/Region
- Metro area
*We automatically target the country an advertiser sets up its account in.
Additionally. advertisers can modify the geo targeting of the quick promote campaign through the Twitter Ads Dashboard. Similar to changing the bid, advertisers will need to select the Promoted Tweet and click the Edit button. Once selected, you will then able to be edit the targeting location and choose the geographic regions you’d like to reach.
We recommend targeting any regions where you do business. If the Tweets you want to promote are relevant to a specific region, limit them to just the most relevant areas. For more information on how geo-targeting works, please see our Geo-targeting Help Article.
