The ISAF Sailing World Cup is open to the ten events at the Rio 2016 Olympic Sailing Competition so there are ten gold medals to be won at each event. Four of the Events are for women, five for men and one for a mixed crew. The Equipment (or type of boat) they use is indicated in the table below.

The Two Person Dinghy Events are the only ones which use exactly the same equipment for men and women. The basics of the one person dinghy and windsurfer events are the same but the women use slightly smaller sails than the men.
