More than 140 sailors from 31 nations will sail across the three Paralympic sailing events at the 2015 Para World Sailing Championships set to be held in Williamstown, Melbourne, Australia from 27 November through to 3 December.

Andrew Murdoch pleases home crowd on opening day at Takapuna Finn Gold Cup

Andrew Murdoch kept the home crowd happy on the opening day of the 2015 Finn Gold Cup in Takapuna, New Zealand after winning the opening race to lead overnight. After two races, he is on equal points with defending champion Giles Scott (GBR) with Ed Wright (GBR) nine points back. The second race was won by Björn Allansson (SWE).

The beautiful venue of Club Nautico in San Isidro hosted the six day 49er and 49erFX World Championships resulting in 16 fairly sailed races, one newly crowned FX champion, and one long time favorite 49er boat coming in for the win.

ISAF Rankings - Match Racing

Open
Women

ISAF World Match Race Rankings

The ISAF World Match Race Rankings were introduced in 1989 and measure the performance of over 2000 skippers to identify the world's most consistent performers. There are two divisions - Open and Women. To gain women's match racing ranking poinst all crew members shall be women.

The Rankings rate skippers based on their performances at ISAF Graded events over the 24 month period prior to the release date of the Rankings. Skippers score points by competing a Graded Events with the highest points awarded to the event winner and decreasing down. The most points are up for grabs at the World Match Racing Tour, followed by ISAF Grade 1 events, Grade 2 through to Grade 5.

Release Dates

Events can be upgraded providing they meet the Grading criteria of the higher level. Events can also be downgraded if they fail to meet the criteria.

Failure to send results in time for inclusion in the appropriate rankings release may result in points being lost or delayed until the next rankings
