ISAF Annual Conference 2008
Madrid, Spain

The 2008 ISAF Annual Conference will be held in Madrid, Spain from 6-16 November.
Initial details on the 2008 ISAF Annual Conference have been published on the ISAF Meetings microsite - www.sailing.org/meetings. Details on the Conference venue and accommodation will be published shortly.

The Annual Conference is ISAF's key decision making process, bringing together Committee members from all over the world to debate and decided upon the issues affecting the sailing world. The 2008 ISAF Annual Conference is particularly significant as the ISAF Council will decide the equipment for the 2012 Olympic sailing events and the General Assembly will be held; where the incoming ISAF President and Executive Committee is elected, the members of the ISAF Council announced and the ISAF Committees appointed.

The 2008 ISAF Rolex World Sailor of the Year Awards will be also presented in Madrid.

The Submission deadline for the 2008 ISAF Annual Conference is 1 August 2008. However, Submissions on Equipment for the 2012 Olympic Sailing Competition must be made by 15 March 2008.

The ISAF Regulations - www.sailing.org/regulations - contain full details on the submission process (ISAF Regulations 1), the elections at the General Assembly (ISAF Regulations 6) and the selection of the Olympic equipment (ISAF Regulations 16).
