Media Accreditation 2016 Olympic Games

The total quota for Rio 2016 media accreditation is 5,800 - the same figure for the previous five Olympic Games. Media accreditations are distributed by the National Olympic Committees (NOCs) to press organizations in their territory. Click here for contact details of your NOC.

2016 Olympic Sailing Competition

Sailing also has a quota of 'sport specific' accreditations for written press and photographers which are allocated by the IOC. The application process for sport specific accreditation is open and will close on 6 March 2015.

Suva, Fiji hosted the first ISAF Youth Worlds Emerging Nations Program clinic from 24 to 30 April 2015.

Tom Burton (AUS) and Alison Young (GBR) hit the right note in the Laser and Laser Radial at ISAF Sailing World Cup Melbourne as they took out the top honours and qualification spots to the 2015 ISAF Sailing World Cup Final.

The wind picked up for the Finn, Nacra 17 and 470 Medal Racing at ISAF Sailing World Cup Melbourne as the World Cup honours and ISAF Sailing World Cup Final Abu Dhabi spots were decided.
