Day Three Action© CROUAN/GPPN

Formula Windsurfing European Championship
Douarnenez

Three Races were completed yesterday for the women and four for the men, bringing the total completed to five races for both fleets. Stronger conditions all round were experienced as Dorota STASZEWSKA (POL) stamped her authority on the event once again.
Clearly more comfortable in the stronger conditions, the first two races saw Dorota score a first and a second, moving her up to first over all in the event. Verena FAUSTER(ITA) also proved to be fast in the stronger conditions, scoring two second place finishes for the day.

After the first two races, the women took a break whilst the men's fleet completed two races back to back, Antoine ALBEAU (FRA) improved on his eleventh on the first day of the event to score consistently today, and by winning the first race of the day, has moved up to third overall, behind Gonzalo COSTA HUEVAL (ARG) and current leader Steve Allen (AUS)

Today, competitors are currently waiting for the wind to increase above the minimum limit and are looking forward to some more close racing.
