Marseille Y's Cup 2008
Marseille, France

The third edition of the ISAF Grade 3 Y's cup Marseille saw victory for home French sailor, Bertrand PACE in front of the head of series world #7 Eugeniy NEUGODNIKOV and world #9 Pierre-Antoine MORVAN.
A complete Round Robin with 45 matchs was sailed with very shifty east winds conditions Saturday and Sunday.
Bertrand PACE (FRA) won all the matches during the Round Robin and chose as adversary, for the semi-final, the young French sailor Pierre-Antoine MORVAN (FRA). Pacé won the semi-finals and meet in finals Eugeniy NEUGODNIKOV (RUS) who defeated Sébastien COL (FRA) in semi-finals.

PACE defeated NEUGODNIKOV (2 wins to 1) during a beautiful final and gets its ticket for the ISAF Grade 1 event, the Marseille International Match-Race scheduled from 11 to 15 march 2008.

This event constitutes a very good practice for COL, NEUGODNIKOV and Andrew ARBUZOV (RUS) already invited at the MIMR.
