420 Junior European Championship
Nieuwpoort

Yesterday was a beautiful, hot, sunny day but unfortunately very little wind, so that sailing was impossible in the morning.

Eventually the race commitee gave the OK, so that the sailors left the slipway towards the racing area at 15:00h. One race, number five in the series, was sailed in very little wind conditions of 2 to 3 Beaufort.

The Swiss girls team of Rol Emmanuelle and Anne-Sophie Thilo had a great day winning this race.

Leading overall are Eyal Levine and Stav Cohen (ISR), with first girls Alison Martin and Bethan Garden (GBR), who have moved up to 8th position overall.

You can watch the fleet leaving the beach at 10:30h each morning on the live webcam.
