Yachting Australia is seeking to appoint a full time Performance Services Co-ordinator for its Olympic and Paralympic programme. This newly created position will be based at the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra.
The successful applicant will take responsibility for leading the development and implementation of the sport science, sports medicine and sports technical support services strategy that is necessary to maximize the preparation and performance of Yachting Australia's targeted sailors in international Olympic and Paralympic class competitions and regattas.

This position reports to Yachting Australia's National/AIS Sailing Head Coach on all technical matters and to the soon to be appointed Olympic and Paralympic Programme Manager on all programme management and budgeting matters. The role necessitates liaison with key personnel at the Australian Institute of Sport and throughout the SIS/SAS network and also management of Yachting Australia's contracted service providers.

Yachting Australia is seeking an individual with a detailed knowledge of sport science, sports medicine and sports technical philosophies and practices and also understands the requirements of participating and competing successfully at the Olympic and Paralympic Games level.
