ISAF Youth Sailing World Championship
Tavira, Portugal

The 367 sailors from 67 nations are prepared for the second day of racing at the ISAF Youth Sailing World Championship.
After a glamorous opening day of racing that spoilt the sailors rotten the five classes across eight events are rigged and ready to take on Tavira's conditions for race day two.

Clear skies are present in Tavira with a mid morning light southerly breeze. As the day goes on the breeze will veer to the west and slowly build in intensity in the afternoon reaching a predicted 10 knots.

Israel's Yael Paz and Russia's Evgenii Aivazian lead the way in the RS:X Boys on three points with Imogen Sills (GBR) topping the RS:X Girls fleet.

In the 420 Girls Spain's Silvia Mas and Marta Davila have the advantage whilst Japan's Ibuki Koizumi and Kotaro Matsuo have the 420 Boys advantage.

Seafra Guilfoyle (IRL) and Haddon Hughes (USA) hold top spot in the Laser Radial Boys and Girls.

Hong Kong's Yann Thierry D'Argrenlieu and Nathan Bradley have a two point lead in the 29er whilst Kim Vidal and Antonio Lopes (BRA) hold top spot in the SL16.
