US SAILING

US SAILING, national governing body for the sport of sailing in America, has signed a two-year sponsorship agreement with Dry Creek Vineyard, naming the family-run winery an Official Sponsor.
The agreement provides Dry Creek Vineyard with marketing rights as well as benefits to select Adult Championship events. Additionally, Dry Creek Vineyard will use this partnership to support its REGATTA label, a wine brand specifically created by Dry Creek Vineyard for sailors and sailing enthusiasts, and donate a portion of the proceeds from the label's sales to US SAILING's education programs.

"Dry Creek is recognized in sailing circles and known for their sailboat labels; this partnership is a win for both of us," said Jack Gierhart, US SAILING Marketing Director. "By supporting our programs and events with a wine brand that connects with people that sail, Dry Creek is taking a great approach that will have a positive impact on the sailing community."

The Dry Creek Vineyard family has expressed its passion for sailing since the early 1980s by designing wine labels featuring classic sailing yachts. "We've been successful in supporting sailing in the past, and we want to continue doing that," said Kim Wallace, Vice President of Dry Creek Vineyard. "Working with US SAILING is a great way to do this, our contributions will impact a wide range of programs. This new partnership is a natural fit for us."

About Dry Creek Vineyard
Founded in 1972 by David S. Stare, Dry Creek Vineyard is located in the heart of Dry Creek Valley, Sonoma County. The winery is known for producing some of California's finest Fumé Blancs and Zinfandels. In addition to these "flagships", Dry Creek Vineyard is also known for excellent Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Meritage and, starting with the 1997 vintage, Endeavour Cabernet. Dry Creek Vineyard owns over 200 acres of vineyard land, primarily in Dry Creek Valley and the Russian River Valley. Their wines are easy to recognize due to the spirited yacht paintings that appear on each bottle from Dry Creek Vineyard.
