Rolex Far 40 World Championship

As a precursor to the Farr 40 World Championship starting at the Paradise Island resort in Nassau this week, Massimo Mezzaroma and his crew on Nerone showed good form in the Carribbean Championship.

Winning by only 3 points from Canadian Terry McLaughlin, Nerone had a consitant third and first on the final day to take the overall victory in the high calibre international fleet, which includes Vincenzo Onorato, recently departed from America's Cup action in Auckland.

After two further days of measurement today and tomorrow, racing in the World Championship begins in earnest on Wednesday, finishing Saturday.
