Jo Aleh and Olivia Powrie swoop into the lead

London 2012 Olympic Sailing Competition
Weymouth and Portland, Great Britain

The fight to grasp the top spot in the Women's 470 has intensified between leaders Jo Aleh and Olivia Powrie (NZL) and Hannah Mills and Saskia Clark (GBR).
Third-placed Lisa Westerhof and Lobke Berkhout (NED) will need a pair of good results on Sunday to concentrate their pressure on the top two.

Not far behind, Camille Lecointre and Mathilde Geron (FRA) and Fernanda Oliviera and Ana Barbachan (BRA) who have each won races already will endeavour to assemble more consistency to their score lines and secure a place in the top three.

Elise Rechichi and Belinda Stowell (AUS) now need to deploy their combined Olympic experience to climb the leaderboard.

Top Five
1. Jo Aleh and Olivia Powrie (NZL) 15pts
2. Hannah Mills and Saskia Clark (GBR) - 17pts
3. Lisa Westerhof and Lobke Berkhout (NED) 19pts
4. Amanda Clark and Sarah Lihan (USA) - 22pts
