You must arrange a Visa well in advance and it is your responsibility to ensure that you have the correct travel documents. Please take the below as a guide only:
Citizens of Australia, Andorra, Austria, Brunei, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Monaco, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, San Marino, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States of America and the Vatican State can get a free-of-charge entry visa upon arrival at Abu Dhabi International Airport. (GCC citizens do not need a visa to enter the UAE.)
Citizens of all other countries will need to apply for a Tourist, Transit or Visit Visa prior to their trip. Please note it may take a few working days to apply and receive a visa.

Invitation Letters
For those sailors intending to travel from the RS:X World Windsurfing Championships at Al Mussanah, Oman to Abu Dhabi, UAE to the ISAF Sailing World Cup Final you will require a Visa to cross the border.
Every passenger traveling to EUA from Oman will need a printed letter under his/her name to be able to cross the border with the RS:X equipment (even Flying). Please email swc@isaf.com to request a letter.
Please state how you will cross the border, either by plane or car. If by car, please confirm the area of the boarder that you will cross.
