Day 5 in Qingdao
Day 5 in Qingdao

ISAF Sailing World Cup Qingdao
Qingdao, China

It's Day 5 in Qingdao which means it is Medal Race Day. After four days of sailing the top ten are ready for one final race to decide who goes to the centrepiece final in Abu Dhabi.
Despite not making the medal race, Singapore's Women's 470 sailors Priscilla Low and Shu Xian Lee did have the consolation of missing the final race with Olympic qualification. They finishied the highest on the leader board from the eligible nations in the fleet.

Looking to cap a fantastic few days are again sailors from Singapore. Justin Liu and Denise Lim have been consistently on good form in the light Qingdao breeze in the Nacra 17. The pair will be looking to complete a Sailing World Cup gold medal, invitiation to Abu Dhabi, and Olympic qualification triple.

There cause will be helped by another light breeze day that they have dealt with so well. A north east breeze will start the day moving later to the south east. On a partly cloudy day with light fog, the breeze will be 6-8 knots gusting to 8-12.
