From the start of our supplier responsibility efforts in 2006, Apple has regularly worked onsite with suppliers to address shortfalls, and take immediate action to resolve any issues we find. In addition to our early and active engagement to improve suppliers’ operations, we are equally committed to being more open about our own efforts. So we are publicly listing our top 200 suppliers, including their addresses and locations. We also publish all the names of the smelters in our supply chain, including their conflict-free certification status. And we release the internal standards behind our industry-leading Code of Conduct. We know of no other company with this level of transparency.
