With all to play for however, it was the Chilean crew who eventually took the title with a 6th place in the final race 8. The rule of thumb in this Championship was certainly, don't take a bullet, but sail consistently. With only one first place result amongst the top three crews, and that only benefiting the Chileans in the final race, the fleet was all open up until the final race yesterday.
