Fireball World Championship
Adelaide

Today's racing commenced at 13.23 in approximately 15 knots from the south-west. The course was a trapezoid and the race was hotly contested.
Eventual winners were Andy SMITH and James MELDRUM of UK, followed by Brett YOUNG and Allen BLENKLE and fellow Australians Dylan CLARKE and Jonno BANNISTER in third.

With winds increasing to 20 knots during the first race of the day and reaching 25 knots at the time the second race was due to start, the decision was made not to start. Shortly after that decision was made, gusts of 35 knots were recorded through the course.
