PRITCHARD Sweats It Out

PWA World Tour 2005 - Mondial du Vent
Leucate, France

A crisp morning breeze picked up swirls of white sand on the beach at La Franqui, Leucate yesterday morning, promising another day of intense Super X action. By ten thirty, event leader, Matt PRITCHARD (USA) was out on the water testing lighter wind gear and cutting perfect white tracks through the turquoise Mediterranean waters.
Unfortunately, the promised wind began to diminish and by 1200 hours local time the sailors went into a holding pattern. Despite some solid gusts, that provided excellent fun for the hundreds of public sailors in town to try all the latest gear, the wind never really returned. At 1700 competition was officially called off for the day.

Going into day three, PRITCHARD leads ahead of Cyril MOUSSILMANI (FRA) and Robby SWIFT (GBR), with Vidar JENSEN (NOR) and little brother Kevin PRITCHARD (USA).

The true beauty of Super X is that anyone can win and anything can happen so the action will keep coming thick and fast as soon as the wind returns.
