The leaders from the sailing industry are once again convening to network and share ideas for promoting participation in sailing at the ninth International Sailing Summit.
After eight previous successful Summits, held all around the world, this is the first visit to Paris. This ninth International Sailing Summit (ISS) will be hosted by FIN, the French Nautical Federation and will be held on 4 December 2008 as a lead-in to the Paris International Boat Show.
A great line-up of speakers and presentations is planned, with the emphasis being on successes in the French sailing industry in the morning session and successes in promoting sailing around the world being featured in the afternoon. The ISS will conclude with a gala dinner featuring keynote speakers yacht designer Ron HOLLAND, Bruno TROUBLÉ for an update on America's Cup and ISS Patron Gérard PETIPAS, founder of the Pen Duick company. There will also be a screening of the movie 'Tabarly' by Pierre MARCEL.
The ninth International Sailing Summit is chaired again by Alistair MURRAY of Ronstan.
