Photo of the month
Thanks to everyone who sent in a photo for February’s Photo of the Month, we had some lovely pictures to choose from, however our winner this month comes from Terry Chapman entitled Mistral and Sirocco Evening Battle.
Terry, who is Chair of the Race committee of Sailing Association Mar Menor, an RYA affiliated overseas club with around 150 expat members, commented of his picture: "The picture was taken at about 4.30pm, on 2nd November, on the Mar Menor, Costa Calida, Spain, as the two Sailfish 18's in our fleet approached the last but one mark during our second race. After a very close battle throughout the whole race, the leading boat in the photograph gradually drew away during the last two legs to finish exactly 61 seconds ahead."A great photo Terry thanks for sending it in.
