Husband, wife and sons, the entire Quek family sails.
What started out as a way to spend more time with his twin sons soon turned into a passion for Mr Kevin Quek when he realised that he had fallen in love with the sea and the wind.
Today Mr Quek is the Course Race Official, Byte Cll II for the Sailing event of the Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Games (YOG). His 18-year-old sons help him out too, raising the flags and sounding the signals for the race- that is when they are not checking out those pretty female sailors.
To find out what a day in the life of a sail race official is like, WhyOhGee asked Mr Quek to take us out to sea on the practice race for the Games.
"It's actually very simple," he said, just as we got on our boat and made our way into the blue.
