Optimist (Boys)
Kim Ju Hyeong's (KOR) strategy going into the last and critical race was to stay relaxed. "I had a fantastic week and I needed a first going into the last race to win the Championship and I am happy that I achieved that," said the Korean. An error in the last race meant that Koh Yi Kun (SIN) had to contend with an overall second place finish in the Optimist (Boys) with Samuel Neo Jiun Jie (SIN) finishing in the third place to take the overall third place. Sarawut Phetsiri (THA) and Li Shuang Shuang (CHN) the overnight second and third placed sailors were thus relegated to fourth and fifth place.

Optimist (Girls)
Chaninat Poolsirikot (THA) had stamped her mark with a consistent display of excellence through the event and finished with the Gold medal. Phua Shyn Ee (SIN), who was in the third spot going into the final race, had a reverse in fortune and pipped Lu Weiyi (CHN) to second spot with some smart racing.

Laser 4.7 (Open)
The tight fleet of Laser 4.7 racing had seen many changes on the leader board through the series and the final race finished with Ahmad Latif Khan Bin Ali Sabri Khan (MAS) maintaining his lead for the first position over fellow sailor Muhammad Farhan Bin Hamid (MAS). Allison Maher (INA) took third place.

420 (Boys)
Darren Choy Wong Loong and Nathan Tang En Ci (SIN) sailed to first place with compatriots Andrew Tang En Ham and Jeremiah Yeo (SIN) finishing in second place. Going into the last race the battle for the third spot was closely fought in the ever changing fleet. Mohammad Faizal Bin Norizan and Ahmad Syukri Bin Abdul Aziz (MAS) needed a first place finish going into the final race to take the third podium position ahead of Kim Kyoung Duk and Kang Ji Won (KOR) and Sittisart Ponpan and Peerapol Wisaka (THA). "The plan was to try and get off the start line cleanly somewhere near them. If one of them was having a good race, then stick close to them," said Mohammad Faizal Bin Norizan, "and I am happy that we capitalised on our good start to win the race."

420 (Girls)
The overnight leaders Kimberly Lim Min and Savannah Siew Kiah Hui (SIN) maintained their position with Natasha Michiko Yokoyama and Lee Shu Xian (SIN) in second and Nagisa Mawatari and Tsumugi Shintani (JPN) finishing in third spot.

29er (Open)
Overnight leaders Grelon Cosmas and Bradley Nathan (HKG) who had a narrow lead going into the final race maintained their winning streak. Noppakao Poonpat and Dylan Whitcraft (THA) finished in the second place with Ganapathy Kelapanda Chengappa and Varun Ashok Thakkar (IND) taking the bronze medal home.

470 (Men)
Ku Anas Bin Ku Zamil and Mohammd Ahafizzudin Bin Mazelan (MAS) maintained their overnight first position. But the battle for second and third spot saw some interesting moves with Razman Bin Mat Ali and Mohd Sollehudin Bin Ismail (MAS), Wang Weidong and Deng Daokun (CHN) and Navee Thansoontorn and Nut Butmarasri (THA) finishing with similar points. Razman Bin Mat Ali and Mohd Sollehudin Bin Ismail (MAS), Wang Weidong and Deng Daokun (CHN) were thus declared second and third respectively based on better finishes recorded during the series.

470 (Women)
Wei Mengxi and He Xinyan (CHN) dominated the regatta and finished first overall. Khairunnisa Bt Mohd Afendy and Nurasyikin Bt Mohd Sayed (MAS) finished second and Li Shuli and Chen Yuanfang (CHN) came third.

Laser (Standard)
This fleet saw no change in the positions and the Lasers were led by Keerati Bualong (THA) in a strong performance. Khairulnizam Bin Mohd Afendy (MAS) finished in the second spot with Zhou Jinfu (CHN) in the third place.

Laser (Radial)
In a good showing for the host country, Nur Amirah Bt Hamid (MAS) won the gold medal. Nagisa Sakai (HKG) finished second overall but in change of fortunes for hosts, Khairuneeta Bt Mohd Afendy (MAS) took the gun in the final race to beat Germaine Teo Wei Yin (SIN) for third spot.

RS:X (Men)
Chinese sailors continued to dominate the boards, with Huang Yikai (CHN) and Chen Guoxing (CHN) finishing first and second respectively. Kim Hyung Kwon (KOR) took the bronze medal.

RS: X (Women)
The RSX women Gold was won by Wu Jiahui (CHN) with a small margin. Lo Sin Lam Sonia (HKG) and Chau Kin Ching Lydia (HKG) finished second and third respectively.

Mistral (Men)
The GOl medal for Mistral men fleet was claimed by Ma Yik Kau (HKG) and the silver went to Seo Dong Woo (KOR) who was closely followed by Kong Ching Lam (HKG) in third spot.

Mistral (Women)
The first position in the Mistral women fleet went to Wang Shuijia (CHN) with very consistent sailing. Ma Ka Him (HKG) finished in the second spot with Law Chin Yin (HKG) very close behind in the third place.

Hobie 16
Damrongsak Vongtim and Kitsada Vongtim (THA) took gold with a dominant performance. Tong Yui Shing and Tong Kit Fong (HKG) came through in second and Musaab Al-Hadi and Ahmed Al-Balushi (OMA) took third position.

"The race management has been absolutely faultless," complimenting the on-course race management said many competitors. Guiding this international fleet in continually shifty winds challenged PRO Ilker Bayinder and his support team, however, they managed the show well to ensure that no opportunity was lost and stayed ahead of schedule till the last day of racing.
