Rob Clark commented on the course, "I have been highly impressed by the standard of sailing and quality of coaching being developed in Oman and believe it is through hard work and the passion of these candidates that they achieved their goals. The commitment being shown by the Oman Olympic Committee, the Oman Ministry of Sport and the Training team at Oman Sail is something that I, along with many others around the world, will be watching with great interest. I am sure that participation in sailing in Oman will continue to grow."
At Oman Sail there is a steady flow of new sailors through the door, with a school group every afternoon taking part in sail training. They also have a community day every Thursday where people who have been sailing at the centre before can come along and continue their progression. This is something that the team at Oman Sail say has proved to be a resounding success.
