Racing was intense in the Hobie 16s yesterday's leader Taylor BOOTH sustained an ankle injury when a his Hobie took a nose dive on a downward run in Race 4, despite the difficulties trapezing on one leg, they continued on to finish 4th. Evan WALKER and Kyle LANGFORD had a brilliant start in Race One where they read the wind shift and went far right upwind giving them an outstanding lead that lasted the entire race. The competition came to an exciting head in Race 5 when Walker match raced Booth downwind to steal first. Walker and Booth are currently tied on 12 points after five races.

Corey PLANT continues to lead the Sailboards: his extensive international experience and training with Olympian Lars KLEPPICH appears to be paying off as he wins every race of the series. Alisha KAWALLA, the only girl competing, continues to perform well, finishing 2nd in the fleet in two of today's races.

Racing was fast and tricky in the 29ers, Mathew VANDERVOOT and Joshua CORNFORD from Wangi Amateur Sailing Club won the first two races as they maximized on the fresh winds in the downwind legs to quickly pass their competitors. Will CRITHARIS and Ryan JENNINGS of Woollahra SC continue to lead overall on 7 points.

Starts were crowded for the 47 sailors in the Laser Radial fleet there was a general recall in the first race which was followed by a black flag start. James BURMAN of Hunters Hill SC continues to lead the fleet with a 2nd, 1st and 3rd place in today's racing. In the Laser full rigs Warwick Hill of Victoria and Maximilian KHYAN TAT SOH from Singapore are tied on 20 points.

The 420 fleet had its share of ups and downs as well there were three OCSs in Race 5. Will PHILLIPS and Max TAYLOR are leading the boys overall while Dawn XIAODAN LIU and Siobhan SHUI WUN Tam of Singapore lead the girls division by 7 points.

Racing continues today with Races 6 & 7 at 1330.
