The 60 foot CityJet, sailed by Jean-Philippe CHOMETTE (FRA), Cesar DOHY (FRA) and a crew of six, set the Round Ireland Monohull record from 3-6 May 2005. They completed the circumnavigation in 2 days, 9 hours, 41 minutes and 6 seconds at an average speed of 12.27 knots. CityJet smashed the previous record, set by Gary KEEGAN (IRL) on Irish Independent, by over 17 hours.
Jean Luc VAN DEN HEEDE (FRA) guided Adrien around Britain and Ireland in 7 days, 8 hours and 47 minutes at an average speed of 10.11 knots. He also made a massive improvement on the previous record, taking 4 days, 3 hours and 39 minutes off the time set by Michael KLEINJANS (BEL) on Roaring Forty last June.

NB. The ratified time for Adrien is slightly different to the original time given by the WSSRC 'in a subject to WSSRC ratification' notice. The correct Adrien time was the one originally reported by ISAF yesterday morning.
