Orange Round Britain and Ireland Record Attempt

The Orange catamaran has made up two hours this morning as it chases the round Britain and Ireland record.

The boat has averaged speeds of around 20 knots.

It is now only three hours behind the pace for Steve Fossett's record.

Orange is 184 nautical miles from St Kilda in the Western Isles.

The crew says the next six hours are crucial as Orange must make up ground in case of light winds or head winds on Thursday and Friday.
