International 2.4mR Class World Championships 2016

The Royal Yacht Club of Tasmania will host the 2016 World Championship for the International 2.4mR single-handed keelboat class on Hobart's River Derwent early next January.
On day three of the J/24 World Championships in Boltenhagen, Germany, the fleet faced winds of up to 20 knots. It was again Ian Southworth (GBR 5219) who sailed two excellent races and kept his lead over second-placed Mike Ingham (USA 5443). And today Travis Odenbach (USA 5432) also entered the stage.
An impressive flotta in excess of 40 yachts will contest the 26th edition of the Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup, taking place in Porto Cervo, Sardinia from 6-12 September.
Congratulations are in full order for Alessandro Rombelli and his STIG 2015 Melges 32 World Champion team that includes tactician Francesco Bruni and crew members Pierluigi De Felice, Giorgio Tortarolo, Michele Giovannini, Daniele Fiaschi, Luca Faravelli (2010 World Champ) and Filippo La Mantia.
The Flensburger Segel Club (FSC) hosted the Junior World Championship of the Olympic 49er and 49er FX Class at the end of August with 73 Teams in all attending the Flensburg Fjord at the very northern side of Germany.

The ISAF XML Regatta Reporting format (ISAF XRR) is an XML schema
defined by the International Sailing Federation; the world governing
body for the sport of sailing. It provides a universal standard for the
transfer of information relating to sailing events, including but not
limited to results, calendar and entry information.

the data transfer procedures implemented on the ISAF servers. Links are

The File Import page is a manual upload
tool that can be used to test XRR documents for correctness. It also
provides an upload tool for the particular case of a live Event where
an automated tool is unavailable.
