Race Areas

The racing areas for the Rio 2016 Olympic Sailing Competition will be inside and outside Guanabara Bay. The latitidue / longitude positions of the centre of the six course areas will be detailed in the Notice of Race.

The race courses will be windward / leeward or trapezoid.

The diagram below shows the course areas that will be tested during the Aquece Rio - International Sailing Regatta 2015.
