Active weather from Northern Rockies to Upper Midwest

A storm system in the northern U.S. will bring a variety of weather across several states from the Northern Rockies to the Upper Midwest on Saturday. Several inches of early-season snow are forecast in the higher elevations of Idaho and western Montana. Locally-heavy rain will accompany strong thunderstorms in the northern Plains and Upper Midwest.
