Sailing Team Building
Corporate Team Building is a vital event for your company. Not only does it allow your staff to have fun, but it boosts morale, allows staff to bond and enjoy each others company away from the pressures of the work enviroment.
Our Sailing Team Building courses come with professional Yacht Master skippers who will endeavour to teach the teams the basics of sailing whilst working together.
One Day Event
Our courses aim to bring people together through the medium of sailing. Teams must navigate across open sea, trim the sails, helm the boat and learn the "rules of the road" as they build towards a light hearted race, treasure hunt or other exercise. The basic timetable for the day can be altered but is always loosely formulated around the items listed below:
- Introduction to the Yacht and Safety on-board.
- Basic Drills and Crew Duties.
- Team Building Sail to Lunch Stop.
- Afternoon Exercise - Fun Race.
- Return to Harbour, Tea and Feedback.

Sailing is an ideal environment in which to explore team dynamics. On board a performance yacht and under the tutelage of a commercially trained skipper this format looks at decision making, leadership, communication and confidence building.
- Introduction to the Yacht and Safety on-board.

- Plan and carry out extended Passage.
- Emergency Situation Simulations
- Treasure Hunt.
- Return to Port.
- Tea and Feedback.
