Bob the Buoy and team delight Dame Mary Peters

Royal Yachting Association Northern Ireland and its associated clubs and centres got together on Saturday to raise fund for the Mary Peters Trust.

On the day shoppers at Victoria square talked with RYANI staff and volunteers about where to try boating locally and had a go at the activities and competitions on offer and got to meet

RYA Regional Communicator wanted for RYANI

The RYA is looking for a Regional Communicator to provide media/communications services for the RYANI.

The Regional Communicator will work with the RYANI and the RYA to

·         publicise RYA events to regional media, with the aim of promoting participation in the region and

·         communicate the work of the RYA and RYANI to clubs in the region

The RYANI team, volunteers from clubs and centres will set a course for Belfast’s Victoria Square shopping centre this Saturday 27th June, 9am to 5pm.

The event is being run in support of the Mary Peters Trust, a charity which helps aspiring young athletes
