Content Translation, used in over 10,000 articles, now available on Wikipedias in all languages

Konkani Wikipedia goes live after nine years of incubation

Goan Konkani Wikipedia, finally went live this June 18 after being in the Incubator for about nine years. The project went through numerous hindrances but the hard work of the editor community who are mostly from the Indian state of Goa paid off in getting the project out of incubator.

The Klexikon: a new wiki encyclopedia for children

Since December 2014, the Klexikon is a new wiki encyclopedia in German. The content is suited for children from the age of six to twelve. The Klexikon differs from previous attemps with its focus on readability and ease to edit. The founders, Michael Schulte and Ziko van Dijk, were supported by a Wikimedia Deutschland program.

The Chinese Wikipedia’s Dong Yuan Ling wants you to contribute articles

The Online Edit-a-thon called “Dong Yuan Ling”(Chinese: 动员令/動員令, literally means Mobilization Order) is an annual tradition of Chinese Wikipedia in every summer will start on 4 July this year. In next two months, Editors on Chinese Wikipedia will be encourage to join the activity and improve some topic of Chinese Wikipedia that it weeks on. The first Dong Yuan Ling was held in 2006, and this year is the thirteenth Dong Yuan Ling.
