Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Adults 

All organisations that work with children and young people under the age of 18 or with vulnerable adults have a responsibility to safeguard and promote their welfare. The RYA is committed to providing a safe environment for all participants to enjoy sailing, windsurfing and powerboating at RYA-organised events, and to helping its affiliated clubs and class associations and recognised training centres to fulfil their responsibilities.
