The appointment and/or approval of ISAF Race Officials to international events is defined in ISAF Reguation 25. ISAF has the right to appoint race officials for events in order to ensure that they are fully trained and qualified.

2015 Events

Appointments have now been made and published for SWC Qingdao.

Appointments to the SWC Finals, 49er Worlds and IFDS Worlds have been made and will notified in the week commencing 22 June 2015.

ISAF is currently considering appointments to the Radial Worlds. The intention is to notify these by end of June 2015.

2016 Events

The nomination/consultation process for all 2016 events is currently underway with classes and organizing authorities. This information is provisional and may be subject to change.

Olympic & Paralympic Sailing Competition

Appointments to the 2016 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games will be announced by the end of September 2015.

Class Worlds

Appointments to the 2016 Class World Championships will be announced by the end of August 2015.

Sailing World Cup Events

Appointments to 2016 SWC Melbourne, SWC Miami, SWC Hyeres and SWC Weymouth will be announced by the end of August 2015 (possibly sooner for Melbourne and Miami). Appointments to 2016 SWC Qingdao will be made by the end of October 2015.

Appointments to the 2016 SWC Finals will be made in early 2016.

Other Events

Appointments to the following 2016 events will be made by the end of August 2015:

• ISAF Women's Match Racing World Championship
• ISAF Youth Match Racing World Championship
• World Match Racing Tour Events (except the Monsoon Cup Final)
