Munster 420 Championships at WHSC 4th,5th July

The Munsters will be held at WHSC (Dunmore East) on July 4th and 5th.

The event will be held together with the Flying Fifteen South Coast Championships and the Fireball National Championships.

Notice of Race, Accomodation details, etc. are attached.

 

EVENT DINNER ON SATURDAY

There will be an Event Dinner on the Saturday night for €15 per head.  This is open to all the sailors, parents, siblings etc.

and will be a great opportunity to chill and socialise, and meet with the sailors from the other classes.

420 French Summer Cup 2015

International French Summer Cup
21 - 25 July Port du Crouesty, Brittany

The Irish 420 Association are planing to send a team to this great event. The event is open to all Irish 420 sailors. Full details of the event can be found below.

The Port of Crouesty is only about a 2 1/2 hours drive from the ferry port of Roscoff and about 4 hours from Cherbourg. The outline plan would be to travel:
Rosslare - Roscoff Friday 17 July 1000 - 1030 Saturday
Cherbourg - Dublin Sunday 26 July 1600 - 1030 Monday

The cost per sailor will depend on the number of boats.

Selector Series - 2015

The Leinsters in HYC were the final leg of the 420 Class Association Selector Series for selection of teams for the Open and Ladies World Championships and also the Junior European Championships.

Curradinghy Leinsters - Results

15 boats with 30 sailors attended the Leinsters in Howth, with many new sailors and new partnerships, as well as some sailors standing in because of illness and injury.  

It was only possible to sail on the Sunday due to weather on Saturday, and 3 races were completed. 

 

1st Gold went to Douglas Elmes & Sean Waddilove, with Cliodhna Ni Shuilleabhain & Niamh Doran 2nd, and Lizzy McDowell & Anna O’Regan 3rd.

420 Leinsters in Howth 2+3 May

The 420 Leinsters will be held at Howth Yacht Club on 2+3 May (Saturday and Sunday)

The entry fee is €70 per boat (before 24 April) and €90 per boat if entered after that.

Dinner for helm and crew on Saturday night is included in the entry fee !
