Morning Report - 4 September
More light winds expected
More light winds expected

London 2012 Paralympic Sailing Competition
Weymouth and Portland, Great Britain

With six races done, and the discard in full effect, the leader boards are shaping up nicely with big leads prevalent in the 2.4mR and Sonar and a three way battle developing in the SKUD18.
Despite light winds yesterday the Race Committee were able to get both races in for the three fleets and it will be the same case on the fourth day of racing.

A sea breeze will develop between 10:30 and 12:00 local time with 6 knots blowing through at first before a range of 6-10 knots. However there is a risk that moving into the afternoon the wind will begin to die and dip below 6 knots.

A full weather report is available here.

It was another late finish in the protest room last night and after their fantastic day, Aleksander Wang-Hansen, Marie Solberg and Per Eugen Kristiansen (NOR) were disqualified and dropped down to fifth overall.

With three of the top six Sonar teams holding DSQs Udo Hessels, Marcel van de Veen and Mischa Rossen (NED) have stayed out of harms way and now hold an 11 point lead. Another good day from them and they could have the gold medal in their sights.

Great Britain's Helana Lucas also has a healthy lead in the 2.4mR after double bullets on the third day. She leads Heiko Kroger (GER) by nine points.

Dan Fitzgibbon and Liesl Tesch (AUS), Alex Rickham and Niki Birrell (GBR) and Jen French and Jp Creignou (USA) will resume their three way battle today with just two points separating them at the top of the leader board.
