With more than 1400 Devoti Finns built to date, including all of the Olympic medal winning Finns since 1996, Devoti Sailing decided that it was time to go for a ground up new design, now known as the D-Fantastica Finn. Using the latest in design technology the D-Fantastica Finn is the most optimised Finn ever built. The design team had to focus on the complexities presented by the Finn dynamics and having tapped into Luca Devoti's vast technical knowledge they used CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) modelling with a degree of flexibility. The result is the most advanced design of Finn. Tests to date across the wind range and different sea states have proven to be very positive.
With an excellent order book for the D-Fantastica Finn, it's clear that the Finn market has the confidence in Devoti's ability to come up with a new and highly competitive design. Of course the Classic Devoti Finn is much in demand alongside the new model.

Launched at the London Dinghy Show in 2014 this exciting, 21C, lightweight, single hander has gone from strength to strength with established fleets across the UK and Europe. Based on Dan Holman's concept beach boat, the D-Zero is a thoroughbred racing dinghy but with the space, stability and ruggedness for use as a beach boat. The D-Zero owes its fine racing pedigree to the modern design from Dan and further development to the boat and rig from Devoti Sailing, North OD and Compotech (spars), all of whom have unrivaled experience in dinghies with unstayed rigs.
With a busy program planned for 2015 you can expect to see D-Zeros competing in open meetings across the country and mainland Europe with Lake Garda also on the list.

6 years on and the Devoti D-One hiking, asymmetric single hander has come of age. The D-One goes from strength to strength as sailors recognise the exceptional sailing qualities of the boat including many world and national champions. For those who like to travel, there is an exciting international regatta program!
The Devoti D-One is an exhilarating and rewarding single-hander that provides close tactical racing upwind, combined with the fun of asymmetric performance.
The D-one is built using carbon foam construction in CNC moulds, giving a stiff light hull. The carbon mast, boom and bow sprit from Compotech provide excellent quality throughout.
Upwind the Devoti-one is powered by a large 11.5 sq.m. fully battened main sail that has enough power to be hiking early but easy to keep control when it gets fresher. Downwind, using the 13.2 sq.m. gennaker, the boat is stable and easily driven with plenty of power to the highly manoeuvrable and lightweight hull. A small rig is also available for lighter sailors.
