Sotic's streaming platform MatchDayTV is designed to remove the difficulty of encoding, uploading and streaming high quality multimedia. Clients can either upload directly or have a video production company FTP the files to our media receiving servers. Clips are automatically encoded into the correct format including iPhone and then linked to the relevant news article or feature to appear on the live site. Sotic have also integrated the system into delivering to third party streaming including YouTube. The branded MatchDayTV media player has full Social Media integration and allows site owners the opportunity to generate revenues from the clips though sponsorship deals.

Our solutions are based on enabling the client to upload and manage all the editorial and video content themselves. Streaming costs include the upload, storing and delivery of video or audio multimedia clips.

There are two elements we have now included via the CMS

• Including YouTube videos in News articles (http://www.gbbasketball.com/news/2369.php) The videos are added to news articles in the CMS using the embed code provided by YouTube. Therefore the process would be: Create video on YouTube; create a news article; add the embed code from YouTube; keyword or add player iD's to categorise as normal
• Listing all videos in the YouTube Channel on a page on the site (http://www.gbbasketball.com/2365.php) This will automatically aggregate any YouTube videos from a specific channel as they are uploaded and information is pulled into Sotic-managed sites.
