2016 National Team Racing events announced
Oxford Sailing Club and Bough Beech to host 2016 events
The dates and host sailng clubs for the 2016 RYA Ladies National Team Racing Championship and UKTRA/RYA National Team Racing Championsip have been announced.

Oxford Sailing Club in conjunction with a group of Oxford Schools will host the Ladies Nationals for the first time on the 20-21 February 2016. Oxford SC also hosts the RYA Eric Twiname Youth and Junior Team Racing and is one of the top team racing host venues in the UK.
A new influx of younger female team racers are expected from schools around the UK and will hope to challenge the 2015 champions Society (Claire Lasko, Bethan Carden, Alexa Schuler, Nikki Russel, Rachel Jarvis, Emma Derby) who beat Spinnaker 2-0 in the final earlier this year.
The UKTRA / RYA National Team Racing Championship will return to Bough Beech for the 2016 event on 12-13 March, the Nationals are one of the premier events on the UK team racing calendar with elite teams and top universities in attendance.
The 2015 Nationals was held at Rutland Sailing Club, the host venue for the ISAF Team Racing World Championships (19-24 July). Twenty-four of the best teams from around the country competed at the windy weekend and the Royal Forth Hoosiers (Mark Powell, Tim Saxton, Rob Friend, Holly Scott, George Clark and Isobel Walker) were convincing winners, not losing a race throughout the competition.
The Royal Forth Hoosiers will also represent Team GBR at the World Championships later this year alongside West Kirby Hawks and Bristol University.
