The ISAF Sailing World Cup will venture to the venue of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Sailing Competition in Qingdao, China from 13-19 October 2013 and will be held across four close knit venues - Olympic Sailing Center, Yinhai International Yacht Club, Zou Marina and No.3 Bathing Beach.
Olympic Sailing Center
Qingdao Olympic Sailing Center was completed and put into operation in 2006. The fully equipped venue was used for the 29th Olympic Sailing Competition and the Paralympic Sailing Competition. The Center covers a total area of 45 hectares, of which 30 hectares are used for a venue zone and 15 hectares for post-game commercial development. During the games, the center set up Olympic Sub-village, Athletes Center, Administrative Center, Venue Media Centre and Logistical Center, with a total construction area of about 138,000 m² .
Yinhai International Yacht Club
From 2005 to 2008, Yinhai International YachtClub has provided pre-Games training service for roughly 2,000 athletes and coaches from 55 countries and regions.
