P1 launches 2015 race season at London exhibition event 

Lucky guests experience rides in P1 Panther race boats

London’s historic Royal Docks was the venue last week for the launch of P1’s new UK season. Sponsors, partners, suppliers and representatives from host venues and the media were invited to a press conference and then enjoyed experience rides in the P1 Panther race boats.  

P1 is counting down the days to the start of its UK championships at the end of this month, but its 2015 season has already got underway with the opening round of the P1 USA AquaX series having taken place at Daytona Beach at the end of April when a truly international field of ninety riders took to the water in challenging conditions.  

Earlier in the year P1 announced a 50-race powerboat and jet ski series around the UK coast, together with a similar race programme in the USA, confirming its position as the world’s leading marine motorsport brand.  

This summer more than 150,000 spectators around the UK will enjoy the double bill of marine motorsport and all the action from the five championship rounds will be shown on Sky Sports and Motors TV.
