Update From Miami

Miami - what a place. Landing here ready for training straight after new year it has to be one of the best places for January training.

20 degrees and warm water has made the hours training on the water fly by, as well as the occasional dolphin swimming along side. From arrival we got into a Monday to Friday sailing routine leaving the weekends free for some rest and recovery and taking in some of the more famous Miami landmarks.

Staying on Key Biscayne is a highlight where the locals use golf buggies to travel the roads rather than cars!

The training time has flown, and the regatta already started.

Two days gone and coming back from no international racing since having to leave the Europeans early due to injury in July last year we're very pleased with our current performance.

Getting back the race approach and tempo is definitely our focus and little reminders are coming back each race we do. Top marks go to Pink and Peacock today with the three birthday bullets for Rick Peacock's 25th birthday!

4 days to go and all to play for!
