Celebrity spotting at Channel 4!

Myself, Hannah Stodel and Alexandra Rickham travelled up to Central London yesterday as Channel 4 were launching the fact that they are the main broadcaster for the 2012 Paralympic Games.
The afternoon started with Hannah and I getting on a train in Weymouth heading for Waterloo, after that trying to find our way round the tube network and then with the help of a map tried to get to Channel 4. We only walked round in circles once!
The reception saw Channel 4 explain that they were going to dedicate four times more TV coverage to the Paralympic Games than ever before, but probably the most exciting part of the evening for us was doing a bit of star spotting.
Iwan Thomas and Ade Adepitan, Rick Edwards from T4 and that guy from Relocation Relocation were there. Most of the cast of Shameless were also there but I’m not sure that Alex got that when she asked the lady that plays Lillian which sport she played!
I think everyone’s favourite star was Gordon Ramsay, we used our press officer Lindsey Bell’s media charms to get a photo with him which was very exciting.
He said dinner was on him if we won gold in 2012, so we might just have to hold him to that...!
