Marinara is a pearl in the Adriatic Sea, south of the mouth of the Po River, in the heart of Romagna. A place that Byzantine ships sailed in the past, now a destination for tourists from all over the world for its incredible proximity to Ravenna, the city that is the location of eight UNESCO World Heritage Sites. It is a place that welcomes visitors with the hospitality of Romagna, with conviviality and friendship.

Located in Marina di Ravenna, a beach resort of the Ravenna coast, it is one of the safest marinas to be found in the Adriatic. Breakwaters measuring 2.5 kilometers protect the harbour entrance and inside there are numerous operators providing all the services that a boat owner may need. The square is home to the town’s largest shopping mall where you can find bars, restaurants, ice cream parlours, perfumes, clothing, charter services and boat hire, plus mechanical and electronic specialists.

A true seaside village, Marinara boasts over 1,000 berths that can safely moor boats measuring up to 40 metres in length. It is set within a serene environment close to beaches, nature trails and spas, and within 70 nautical miles of the beautiful coastline of Croatia and Dalmatian Islands.

Located in the luxuriant secular pine forest on the coast of Ravenna, the town thrives on summer tourism and has nightlife typical of Romagna. Ravenna is also steeped in history and culture. Dante Alighieri, the renowned Italian poet of the middle ages is buried in the city, whilst the Byzantine mosaics of the Roman Empire can also be found here.
