Opera booking system integration

Harbour Hotels is a collection of 8 award-winning hotels and restaurants in Dorset, Devon and Cornwall.

Etch were approached by the hotels creative agency to support with the build of a new online reservations system within the Christchurch Harbour Hotel. We directed the UX and development to integrate the design style of the website within the Opera reservation system, resulting in a visually seamless user journey from browsing the website to booking a room.

We executed the move from flat visuals to responsive layouts, with a thought through user experience and journey. With our extensive understanding of Opera, the team were able to impart this knowledge to enhance upon the original concepts and this resulted in a beautiful booking experience for guests.

The Result

Online booking increased dramatically, visitor numbers increased and the bounce rate dropped.

Opera Integration

Integrating with Opera, the client has full control over their booking system using Umbraco and Opera.  Every aspect of the site can be managed without any coding experience.
