Welcome to the Burton Sailing Club website
We are a fun, family club that provides a vast range of activities from training for beginners to regular racing, windsurfing and offshore sailing.
We enjoy excellent sailing facilities at Foremark Reservoir amidst the dramatic Derbyshire countryside, in the heart of the National Forest within easy reach of Derby, Nottingham, Burton, Leicester and Loughborough.

We will be hosting an open meeting for the Laser fleet on Saturday 13th June. Download the Notice of Race here.
On May 24th, Burton SC will be hosting this year's Southern Tripartite Interclub event. We will be welcoming all our neighbours from Staunton Harold SC and Swarkestone SC to see who can take the trophy this year! Individual Results: Team Results:
Our annual open day is Saturday 16th May (11am - 4pm). Free taster sessions available - fun for all the family!
This weekend the Enterprise fleet will be visiting Burton. Forecast is looking great - it's going to be a brilliant and busy weekend!
Pink Sailing starts up again for 2015 tomorrow evening (Thurs 23rd April). Sessions run every Thursday evening from 6:30 and include everything from gentle cruising to race coaching and powerboating. Something for everyone, except the blokes!
The Prize Giving for the 2014 season was held at the club on Saturday 21st March. It was a very pleasant evening with food provided by Adam and Ellie and good beer from the bar - an ideal opportunity to catch up with last year’s prize winners and chat about the new season. Thanks also to Maria and Craig for getting the prizes sorted out. The list of prize winners is attached below and some photos from the evening can be found in the gallery above. Congratulations to everyone that took home a trophy.
