Locations

The Scottish Government has three main buildings in Edinburgh and two in Glasgow. All our main offices have tele-conferencing and video-conferencing facilities and can be easily accessed by walking, cycling or public transport. Limited visitor parking space is available.

We’re making it easier for our staff and visitors to choose a more sustainable method of transport when visiting our buildings – with cycle parking spaces for staff and visitors at all of our main buildings and free to use electric vehicle charging points at our main buildings in Edinburgh.

The Scottish Government is leading by example in reducing the environmental impact of how we work - including our buildings and business travel. The Climate Change (Scotland) Act requires Scotland as a whole to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 80 per cent by 2050, and this target is reflected in our own.

Next time you visit one of our buildings, why not try to use a greener method of transport? Look for more information on sustainable travel options at the building you’re visiting using the links below. More information on greener travel, wherever you’re going is also available on the Greener Scotland website.
