BMF Scotland
Welcome to the British Marine Federation - Scotland
BMF Scotland is the regional group representing more than 50 marine businesses in Scotland.
BMF Scotland aims to feed back information relevant to the business environment and development of members in Scotland, to BMF, to enable appropriate action and support. This local regional focus on Scottish businesses and their local business environments is vital, given Scotland’s geography, coastline and devolved government status.
A large part of BMFS’s activity is lobbying and representation to promote the interests and development of the marine industry in Scotland. BMFS Board members attend the Recreational Boating and Marine Tourism Cross Party Group and are leading on the development of a Marine Tourism Strategy through the Marine Tourism Strategy Steering Group.
The BMFS Board meets formally 4 times per year and welcomes input from members at any time.
