In the Water

Designed for open water and pool swimming, Forerunner 920XT measures every stroke and meter of your workouts and offers enhanced training capabilities. The sleek new design makes it wet suit-friendly and about 15% lighter than its predecessor, the 910XT model.

On the Bike

The 920XT is compatible with sensors such as speed, cadence, heart rate and power meter - to provide advanced training capabilities. In addition to GPS, it can also receive GLONASS signals for improved accuracy.

On the Run

The 920XT can help you train for optimal running form by reporting running dynamics data when used with the HRM-Run monitor. It also has a metronome with vibe and audible alerts to guide your cadence training. For ultra runners, it offers an UltraTrac mode that turns GPS off at certain intervals, extending battery life for up to 40 hours.

“Failure is not an option.

With long course racing, you have to keep that in mind. Knowing my Garmin is not going to fail me in training and racing is a huge benefit.”

-Timothy O'Donnell

Garmin Connect

Garmin Connect is our free online community where you can save, plan and share your efforts. By regularly connecting your 920XT to Garmin Connect, you'll also benefit from a faster GPS fix due to satellite data that will be sent to your device automatically. To fuel your competitive side, Garmin Connect offers segments. Once your ride or run is done and uploaded to the site, you can see where you stand on the segment leaderboard.

Now your brick workouts and race activities have a whole new view in Garmin Connect. When you complete an activity using the auto multisport mode on your device, each leg and transition time is stored in one combined file for easy review and sharing. Individual tabs let you access detailed data for each leg.

Pair the 920XT with your smartphone and the Garmin Connect Mobile app for additional capabilities that can help you stay connected during your cycling and running workouts or races.
